Dangerous place to live

In response to the previous comment, yes, all apartments have problems, BUT, this is the first (and hopefully last) complex I have lived in where I fear for my safety.
Not only is there mailbox vandalism (which the apartment management neglected to tell ANYONE about), but there have been several break-ins in the last few months. In addition, the newspaper machine was stolen last Thursday night. A neighbor told me he's has 2 (yes TWO) cars stolen from this complex.
Stray dogs run wild. Even if a dog is off leash and you know where it lives and tell the apartment people, they don't do anything to rectify the situation. This makes it difficult to enforce the "pooper-scooper" rule, resulting in a horrible odor whenever the wind picks up. Just last night, a friend was commenting about the smell and a told her it was due to the poop "mine field" at a nearby building.
Loud music can be heard at all hours. People driving on the main street in the complex have no regard for people walking across the street--it's a contest to see who is fastest.
People coming home from shopping have been "jumped" and beaten by burglers who break into their storage area and lie in wait.
I don't agree that the girls in the office are that helpful, but even if they were, it would not change the quality of tenants this complex draws.
This place is loud, scary, and dangerous. Live here only if you like living in fear.
