Where to start' We had a water leak from the window (because they were redoing the siding and the morons hit the nails THROUGH my walls) and it took the maintance man almost 2 weeks to fix it! Though I do not think it was entirely his fault, the girls in the office have NO CLUE on what they are doing. He came back 3 times to fix the SAME problem. We also had a problem with our cable outlet in one of the bedrooms and we got the run around from the staff and the cable company. (it never got fixed)
When your lease is up they will raise your rent (without telling you before hand) even though they are half empty and are having to run specials to attract tenants.
It got so bad for us that we after 6 months demanded to speak to the manager of the complex. (we have still never met her) When that failed we called the head of Engel properties. That was a month ago and we have stilled not heard back from them!!!
Our lease is up at the end of this month and we are counting down the days. I only hope that the next place is not this bad!

It is safe, we never had any problems with that but the management does NOT care about anything but your rent check!!!
