Worst apartments I've ever lived in. Don't live here! Maintenance takes forever to respond (if they do). Management and people in the office are very unorganized. Lot all of our paperwork when we moved in and we had to go get new copies of the stuff we had already given them. The emergency maintenance person does not live on site, but lives in Calera (pretty far away from Hoover). They clean around the apartments you see by the road, but not around the other ones. The walking trail is covered in trash and there has even been a used tampon laying on the trail for about 4 months. We've had a used condom in the bushes in front of our apartment for over six months. There are coke cans, beer bottles, and random pieces of trash scattered all throughout the shrubbery. The apartments are very over priced for what you get. Look around- you can get a two bedroom townhouse in some apartments not very for away (Bluff Park) for the same price as a one bedroom here. There is a BAD raccoon problem, we've seen more than eight on our porch at one time. Also, we saw three snakes in four days one time. One was a copperhead blocking our neighbor's door. It took emergency maintenance about an hour to respond. I have had construction workers open my door three or four times and say "sorry- the office said this one was vacant." They delayed our initial move in date a week at the last minute, and then when we showed up to move in on the day it was promised, the apartment still was not ready. They let us go ahead and move in, but we had to arrange for our floors to be redone after we moved in because that was what was not ready.
