Do not move in here you can not have guest over because their cars will be broken into.
If you go anywhere at night don't think your apartment is safe. The pizza delivery guy was held up at gun point by kids. Don't get used to any manager they will be gone before six months is up. Have Hoover PD on speed dial you will need it. People block you in so you can not get out of your parking spot and sit on your car at night leaving trash on them. We have leaved here over two years and up until the last eight months or so it was ok but now it is horrible!!!!!

This is absolutely true. It has gotten so much worse in just the past year. I park with my car directly outside the window I spend most of my time at and don't answer the door unless I know someone is coming over. Let me guess, though. You live near the back of the complex, right? The front seems ok, but the back (where I live) is a slum. There is some serious strategic placement of undesirable residents going on here.

Yeah the back is very bad. It seems the front is mostly older people.

The community has really declined in the last year. I've lived here for about 6 years and ever since Engle Management took over it has gone down hill. There is a new manager often and always a new office staff, no consistency. The parents in the complex really do need to do a better job monitering their children because they are a problem at times for sure. The Cable company Direc Path is the pitts however I believe that part of the cable is going away and will all be handled by Direc TV soon. The size of the apartments is what keeps us at the community. Have not found anything in the area that even compares when it comes to size.
