THE CLIFFS AT ROCKY RIDGE IS THE NEW NAME FOR WISTERIA PARK APARTMENTS LOCATED AT 990 WISTERIA PLACE, HOOVER, AL, 35216. I HAVE BEEN A RESIDENT SINCE JUNE OF 2006. SINCE THE APARTMENTS HAVE BEEN MANAGED BY ENGEL PROPERTIES THERE HAS BEEN COMPLAINTS OF SEWAGE PROBLEMS, RODENT PROBLEMS, AND PARKING PROBLEMS. JUST RECENTLY, MY CAR WAS TOWED WHILE I WAS IN THE OFFICE SPEAKING WITH THE RESIDENT MANAGERE, -------------. NO ONE TOLD ME THAT I SHOULD MOVE MY CAR BECAUSE THEY HAD CALLED TO HAVE IT TOWED. IN FACT, I BELIEVE THAT THEY DELIBERATELY HELD ME TO A CONVERSATION TO STOP ME FROM STANDING IN THE WAY OF HAVING MY CAR TOWED. HOWEVER, AS BEFORE STATED THERE ARE MORE PROBLEMS THAN THAT. I HAD TO PURCHASE THE RIDDEX PLUS TO RID MY APARTMENTS OF ROACHES, AND THERE IS STILL A PROBLEM. I HAVE WITNESSED WASTE IN MY TOILET THAT CAME UP FROM THE SEWER. BOTTOM LINE THESE APARTMENTS ARE NOT WORTH THE MONEY. ALL ADVERTISEMENTS ARE FRAUD. THERE IS NO WORKING SWIMMING POOL, THERE IS NO COMPUTER AVAILABLE FOR TENANTS. THE WEIGHT ROOM IS SERIOUSLY OUTDATED. THERE IS NO SECURITY GATE. AND BELIEVE THAT IF THEY CALL TO HAVE YOUR CAR TOWED THE MOST YOU CAN DO IS FILE A CIVIL SUIT AGAINST THE PERSON THAT HAD YOUR CAR TOWED. This sounds like you have some personal issues with the office and is not a real review. Keep your personal issues to yourself!!!!!!!!!!

I have lived here before also and the apartments suck!!!! SECTION 8 or little Mexico! Not worth the money! Also no working pool, no nets on the tennis courts, no security at gate!!! No maintainence, peeling paint and debris, and once it took 2 months for the trash disposal to be empty.. I agree with the other reviews.. if you don't have an issue maybe that's what YOU are used to!

I LIVE THERE TOO JUST MOVE OUT, AND I CAN AGREE IT IS UNSAFE, AND A BAD CHOICE FOR A FAMILY. ITS BAD WHEN THE LEAD MAINTENANCE MAN QUITS AND THE ASST. MANAGER AND TWO LEASING AGENTS QUIT

I am a 22 yr old female with a huband and a 19 mth old baby boy, we are planning to sign the lease on October 27th 2008. I really hope that we are not getting into something we will regret b/c we are looking for a nice friendly good neighborhood and community to raise our new lil family. We cannot at this time, live beyond our means , but the lord knows we will not live below our standards either. We pray that this is not going to be a bad experience.
