We rented here for 13 months at a discounted rate. When we moved in the apartment it hadn't been cleaned since the previous tenants moved out. There was no refrigerator, they allowed the pipes to burst, which meant also no water for a couple of days. There were several other problems on top of this. The staff are absolutely the worst out of the several places I have lived. They tell you promises to get you to sign the lease contract that they can't live up to. They never return your calls. I had a toilet get clogged that was uncloggable. I called them at 4:30pm on a Friday. The manager said all her maintenance crew had already left for the weekend. She stated since I had a toilet down stairs, it wasn't an emergency. Well, I was in the shower later that night for about ten minutes when I noticed the toilet had overrun with 2 inches of water on the floor. It flooded the downstairs as well. The drywall was soaked and sagging. Afters several complaints of the flooded nothing was ever done. The drywall was still sagging the day we moved out. We try to get as much water out of the carpet as possible. The next week our lovely next door neighbor flooded our apt as well. They moved out suddenly, disconnected the washer without turning of the water. These are the same neighbors who gave us roaches. Their apartment was always trashed. You couldn't even walk with all the trash on their floors. We couldn't get rid of the roaches no mater what we did. The cabinets and baseboards had cracks all in them. The staff would only say "I will put your name down to spray". I never saw anyone come spray. We moved out as soon as we find a house. Two months before our lease ended. We gave a notice. A month before the lease was over we went back to clean and remove the rest over our belongings. They changed the locks and threw out our items. We stated we wouldn't pay the last month rent since we couldn't use the space. They never returned our calls about that either. Four months after our lease ended, a collection agency sent us a notice to pay $734 or they would ruin our good credit. We payed it. A month later when we were trying to rent a new apartment this still hadn't been resolved at Brittany Point. I worry this may negatively affect my credit. There is so much more I could say that I greatly disliked will staying at this awful complex. I strongly urge you don't rent here. You will regret it!
