Leasing nightmare!

If you have had previous credit problems, expect to be bilked for an additional month's rent along with whatever the current security deposit is.
They are promoting/pushing their so called renovated apartments. I am living in one and renovated equals the following:
New linoleum on kitchen/bath floors, new refrigerator, stove, and possibly new carpet. The towel racks, sink faucets, and such are the same old crap that's been there for years. The doors are hollow core doors and settling has caused them to not shut properly. Not muuch of a renovation huh'
Keep all paperwork associated with the unit you lease. Check in with them 2 weeks prior to your move in date because they are disorganized and will probably not have it ready for you to move in. The assistant property manager is not nice, you will have to demand that she keep her word on what is promised. If there are any problems, contact their parent company in Chattanooga (Steven Bell Company) I did for all my problems and they were immeadiately resolved.
My utilites are sky high. I have a townhouse and during this Spring, my utilities are $225 a month. It's always hot upstair with the air running constantly. It's noisey here and I hate it!
