The apartment itself was fine its older but has a lot of space. The major problem at Brittany Point is the staff in the office. The women who work in there are honestly clueless about everything. They are unorganized, unwilling to help, and attempt to rip you off. Maybe they act clueless in order to rip you off I am not sure but I strongly suggest not living here. If you need to move into an apartment in the area try Lily Flagg Station or Waterford Square they are slightly smaller but I hope more helpful. I lived there for 13 months one of those against my will but because of poor communication with the office staff I was forced to stay another month. I suggest if you choose to live here to keep a file of everything they tell you make them write it down, make them sign it (even if it s on scratch paper), keep up with everything yourself when maintenance comes when they do not come (which will be often) make sure the office calls maintenance while you are in there. Never discuss anything over the phone because they will forget and you cannot make them sign a document, always go to the office and speak with the assistant manager because she is the only person who knows how to do anything the other two women are basically brain dead. The assistant manager will ignore you and your calls so be prepared to make multiple attempts to see her but no matter what do not talk to the women in the front they will screw you over because they will tell you wrong information (i.e. how much your bill will be for the next month and you will end up with an eviction notice hanging from your door). Finally they attempt to make no face to face communication with you what so ever, so expect all notices, agreements, etc. to come stuffed in between your screen door... even if it s an important document like an eviction notice for an outstanding balance of $30 after they tell you the wrong amount to pay... hope it doesn't blow away or falls out of the door because if it does too bad you will never know until they start kicking you out. Sorry about the tirade but honestly I have never encountered more ignorant, unorganized people in my life and I really wish someone had told me this prior to me moving in.
