I have lived at Brittany point for nearly one year now and thank heavens its nearly over! My family moved in last August and noticed the carpets hadn't been shampooed like promised and we got the usual runaround "Oh go ahead and move in and we will get rite on it" .Well it took almost 3 weeks to get that done and it was a sad job at best.We instantly started having ac problems and after a couple weeks they put freon in the ac and it got better but never correct! We also asked what the utilities usually cost for a unit like this and we was told around $150, we haven't had a bill under $230 since we have lived here and have had as high as $290. because the unit runs 24hrs a day to cool and heat the place. We have had leaks on top of leaks , garbage disposal blew up,we have had BATS in the apartment YES BATS!!!!! We recently started having ac problems again 6 weeks ago and every Maint.man on Bell Properties payroll has came and looked at it,and they even hired an outside contractor to come by and look at it and he agreed with me the unit is too small to cool the apartment and he stated that the thermostat is out of calibration . Some of Brittany Points suggestions have been : close all blinds,don't run the dryer during the day and so forth but is this the kind of answer I should receive for a $724 a month rental agreement ''' They even sent a lady from their home office to talk to me about it and she didnt seem to see a problem with my apartment reaching 78-80 deg when we cook or dry clothes!!! I told her that we would cook super every nite and have to leave for two hrs for it to cool back down and that didnt seem to jar her at all, she wasnt very personable! After going through this meeting with her (I was in my work clothes since I had just gotten off work)i felt as if she judged me by saying and i quote " you can just email the office......if you email!!!!! I have lived at Weston Ranch in the past and Im telling you They know how to take care of their tenants, trust me spend the extra $50-$100 its worth it!! As for my problem , Im fixen to hang a window unit out my liveing room window!!!! LOL

ps. I have been here a year and have not got my copy of the lease agreement yet!

I would never rent from Bell Properties. They have several properties in the area. I agree with you about Weston Ranch being nice. My experience at upscale complexes (like Weston Ranch)is that they give you a good rate on move-in but they have significant rate hikes on renewal. I will still rent at Weston Ranch but I won't renew there. Sign a longer lease and then move out for a year and then come back as a new tenant to get the best rate at places like Weston Ranch. Brittany Point was probably not an equitable move if you moved out of Weston Ranch. I am sure Weston Ranch will love to have you back!!
