I lived at The Landing for about 2 years due to the cheap rent. Well the old saying is true "You get what you pay for". The apartments are old and not kept up. The carpet is nasty, and if you live on the 2nd floor you feel like you are going to fall through the floor. And if you live on the 1st floor, you can hear every step the people upstairs take. I lived on both floors while I was there.

The staff here is very friendly, but they do not follow through with what they say they will. Their maintenance staff consits of one old man, who really cant fix anything. Our ac went out in June, and after three weeks of the maintenance man trying to fix it, they had to finally call in an AC company. And it still took them 3 days to fix it. Imagine being without ac for 4 weeks in the summer time.

Also the appliances are very old, and the power bill usually runs over $100 dollars a month due to the old water heaters, and the cheap ac systems.

Also my last few months there, crime was on an increase. The staff allowed a family to continue to live there after their son had: keyed cars, slashed tires, tore antennas off of cars. He was even arrested by the police for doing this. Their response was that there was nothing they could do. There was also a couple busted for selling drugs out of their apartment in July 2007.

People also never pick up after their dogs. You are constantly have to walk around "dog piles".

I would not recommend living here at all. If you are looking for a cheaper place to stay that is not nice and is outdated, then this would be the place for you.

It wasn't that bad. I've paid more for worse apartments!
