I loved living at the landing. I graduated college and got my first job and needed a nice but inexpensive appartment after a month searching I found it at the landing. It was nice, clean, quiet place to live. I lived on the downstairs and the only noise that I ever heard was my upstairs neighbor walking. The next neighbors were nice and it felt like they were never there. It virtually felt like it was my own townhome instead of an appartment. It is also in edgewater housing community unlike the other two appartments in the area which are adjacent to the community but are not in it. I have two dogs and the landing was always so nice to them(some appts are not!). The staff is so friendly and helpful. My refrigerator broke on the day after christmas and when I called them they sent a new one right over. The repair man was this elderly gentleman that was always so nice--- kinda like a grandfather that likes to fix things. He was never late for an appointment that we had to fix something. My appartment also over looked the woods and was just so nice in the morning to go to the sunroom and drink coffee and have a bagel. It is just walking distance to the lake. My fiancee and I would walk our dogs to the lake and around the lake. It was the best. The only thing is that in the winter the heating bill for my 2 bedroom was awful. I do like it really warm (appro. 76 degrees in the winter). It would be about 260 dollars. In the summer though it would only be about 50 dollars(appro. 70 degrees). The pools are small but well maintained and you also have access to the Edgewater homeowners club house, pool and gym. Overall, I would still be living here if I had not just bought a house down the street from the landing.
