I have lived at Lily Flagg Station for about a year and the apartments themselves are pretty good compared to others in the area... but they are pretty old, and still have what looks to be the original outdated appliances and fixtures. Updates would be nice for the rent I have to pay but my real complaint is the manager. Everytime I call, I'm told she is not available or sent to her voice mail and she never returns phone calls. I have come into the office and asked to speak with her and been told that she is unavailable when she is sitting in her office. When I have spoken to her, I'm told it will be taken care of and months later, nothing has been done and I have not heard from her. My complaints have not really been apartment maintenance issues (unless she is the one who took my call for a maintenance need... then it usually doesn't get done and I have to call back and talk to one of the girls in the office and it usually gets done that day. The things I have had to go to the manager with (I'm told she is the one who takes care of these requests)are more outside structure such as patio, painting, breezeway ceiling, etc...some of which could be dangerous. In my opinion, nothing gets done if it's left up to the manager. I have often heard the same complaints from my neighbors and other residents here. I have to admit that the office staff has always been very friendly and helpful as well as the maintenance people. I was informed that Sentinel will no longer be the owners of Lily Flagg Station, my only hope is that the new owners will make a change in managers to better the complex. And a step into this decade on the inside would be nice.
