I am writing this review because i used it to find Madison Hill apartments so i thought i would fill yall in. Madison Hill has many many ups and downs, we had just got new managers (the third time in the year that i lived there) when me and my hubby got a house. So far the new management seems okay, they sometimes do nice things like pizza get-togethers and drive thru free of charge breakfast... they were getting the pool retiled and fixing up the little inperfections when we were moving out...i really liked the area and i NEVER felt unsafe...the only two things that really bugs me is this.....1.)the OLD management screwed us over by stealing (yes...i said stealing)from us. Let me explain, they told us about a satelite deposit of 250 dollars....paid it, got a reciept...10 months later when we want to move out the new managers have never heard of a satelite deposit, so they are supposed to honor it regardless, but they have yet too. I will be writing another review if they chose not to. Also...our neighbor.....was a neighbor from hell. He played his music till 3 in the morning loudly and when we knocked on the wall, he knocked back and cursed at us. When we called Madison Hill's courtesy officer, he told US to go over and tell them to turn it down--umm isnt that his job'' Anyway, they (the old management) posted a noise complaint form on his door and that kept him quiet (for about two days) that was the only thing they did, but like i said there is new management and they seem nicer and it is a really good area (right next to the mall a mexican resturant, steakhouse, allstate right in front of it, gas station 5 seconds away... 5 minutes from university or walmart-perfect location...but there are lots of college kids, overall i would have picked the same apartment complex (just wouldnt have paid a bogus satelite fee:)
-tips for living at madison hill

*keep every reciept, i mean EVERY receipt. when one group of managers moved in, the last ones had forgot to put in that rent, so everyone who didnt have a reciept got double charged

*get used to new managers....they change about every 2-3 months

*nice pool and nice work out areas..plus the convienance of coke machines at madison hill...so thats helpful

*ask about waived deposits, they give those out like free candy

*they are updating them with newer appliances so thats a plus

*park early or there wont be any places to park at all...

*lots and lots of college kids

*make sure your apartment doesnt have mold growing on it, we had a problem with mold growing on the carpet....because a window leaked, hurt out lungs.....but it could have just been our apartment.
