A look on the brightside

I moved into Madison Hill apartments despite what I read here, figuring that, in general, people who are happy with their apartment are less likely to update this site than those who are not. It looked like a nice place to live, especially with the park right next door, the pool and the w/d in unit.
Thankfully things here are not as bad as written here. Here are some things I like: The grounds are clean and very well-maintained, with lots of shade trees and green grass. I.e., it is a pleasant environment.
There is a lot of storage space in the apartment. I had to downsize from a house, and really, I think this apartment has more built in shelving and cabinet space than my house did. Plus walk-in closet.
I was worried about the stackable w/d being too small, but it is just the right size, and it is a good brand (Whirl Pool Heavy Duty). It really gets my clothes clean, and it is quiet.
The park next door is great, with a walking track, flexibility equipment and playground. Very convenient so you don t get that cooped-up-in-my-complex feeling. My apartment was clean when I moved in. Nothing was broken or in disrepair. No bugs, and none since I moved in.
My building is quiet, with courteous people living in it. There are many nice people living here.
The pool is very nice and refreshing except when too many non-residents use it. Keyed gates would help here.
The management and maintenance people are very courteous and hardworking.
I think that the detractions have mostly to do with a few resident s noisiness and non-residents (in the pool) so, I d say, more good people should move in! Afterall, "l'enfer, c'est les autres but it doesn t have to be.
