I am a current resident at this dump and think that some of the other comments made about this complex were very false.

The whole place has horrible craftsmanship overall and there is absolutely no pride taken by the 2 maintanence men that they have to fix things.

They just paint over walls each time somebody moves out, half the places smell like a smoke stack, and there is so much sloppy caulk work from over the years that the trim seems to run up the wall, and that is just to name a few of the many problems.

They also are increasing lease renewal prices at a dramatic price increase with nothing to show for it.

I would not recommend this place.

One other thing, they have apparently never heard of pest control.

I am unsure what prompted this scathing review, but I question its content greatly. The maintenance staff are both professional and take a GREAT DEAL of pride in their workmanship. There have been a NUMBER of "upgrades" made to this facility over the last couple of years and more are planned for the upcoming year. The price increase is FAR from "dramatic" - and is still less than most of the area communities. Pest control has NEVER been an issue in my apartment. Overall I question the content and the reasoning for this entire posting.

This is probably an owner of another apartment complex, Hehe. I hear the "Nothing to show for" is coming in May, as a bigger lounge and a Gym. And the dramatic price increase is everywhere, my friend. Try looking at Madison and West Huntsville prices, Those are a joke. I'm not a resident of Meadowood yet, but I probably will be soon, concidering that it's the only complex in town that is perfect in my book.

I have mixed feelings. The staff is friendly and they DO respond in a timely manner to the maintenance requests. I agree with smoke smell, I moved in about a year ago and complained about several times and they still haven't done anything about it. The kitchen and bathroom's cabinets are older than me and the tiles in the bathroom floor have mildew that it wont come off (and I had scrubbed and scrubbed). They are painting the buildings and changed the windows and doors, I give them credit for that. The neighborhood is really safe, nice and is close to everything. The price is fair considering the location. I give this place a 7.8 out of 10.
