Not worth a penny!

I lived here about a year ago and am glad to see a place to express my discontent with The Hunt Club. Although I lived here for 2 years, I had the same problems with my apartment on move-in day that I had when I moved out. Don't count on them to change the carpets because they never do.(even if it smells like cat urine, like mine did.) I had to clean it myself. The panel on my door looked as if the last person who lived in my apartment kicked the door in while it was chained, so the wood panel came apart. All maintenance did was replace the chain and paint over the broken wood(this was before I moved in). So of course one day when I accidentally opened my door while it was still chained the whole wood panel came off again. I bet money they charged me for in my security deposit although I asked them to fix it. Aside from the fact that management is extremely uncooperative when it comes to fixing things and maintenance is slow, The Hunt Club will try to cheat you out of your money. Don't bother cleaning your apartment before you leave because they will keep your deposit anyway for so called cleaning expenses. I cleaned my bathroom, kitchen, refrigerator, freezer, mopped, and vacuumed my apartment before i left and they still kept my money. One lady asked me if I cleaned out my oven(one thing I didn't do). She says they charge $50 for that. I asked for an itemized list of what my deposit was used for and never got one. I was supposed to speak with Tony who was supposed to have inspected my apartment because he could tell me what I was charged for. Of course, he was never there. I called management and everyone said they would have head management call me back. He or she never did. Finally I threatened to call the Better Business Bureau. They acted like they took me a little more seriously but still never reacted. They do lose rent checks, money orders, etc. This place is not worth it. I'd rather live back in the dorms and have community bathrooms all over again! I see them getting sued in the near future and I would gladly be a witness to their pitiful management staff. I'll keep my eyes posted because I still want my money. Come to think of it. I think I'll still call the Better Business Bureau. I took pictures. (Apt.13I)
