They advertise this as a gated community and when we signed our lease for a 3 bedroom we were informed the gates were being fixed. Two months now and the gates are still not working. From what I've heard from others the gates never work. It's a joke. There is starting to be a high percentage of punk college kids moving in. They take great delight in inviting their friends over and throwing big parties both in their apartments and out at the pools. I work 3PM until 11PM and many is the night I have come home and there is a group of kids out at the pool being loud and disruptive on a weeknight. The managements response to this was that they can't really control who comes over. My response is that they can control whom they lease too. We pay premium prices to live in this complex and shouldn't have to tolerate a bunch of punk kids being disruptive. I have personally had a run in with a couple of them mouthing off one night when I walked over to the mailbox to check my mail. They of course ran off when I confronted them. It's not uncommon to find beer cans and empty cups laying around in the parking lot. The maintenance guys are quick to pick them up throughout the week so when you come to look at the place it seems nice and clean. But once you move in you soon find out that it's got way too many kids living here and just ruining the place. The security they hired lasted a few weeks and is gone now. Two weeks ago they sent a flyer around announcing the gates would be working but of course they still aren't. Fortunately I have a garage so I don't worry about my car at night, but others aren't so lucky. I have ten months left of my lease and after that I'm blowing out of this wannabe college dorm. I'm not paying this kind of money to live with a bunch of stupid college kids more interested in partying and raising hell. Some of us have grown up and have jobs and lives.
