Like many of the other prior residents, we had problems with ants...many times! They would come spray one day, and the ants would return the very next day. We couldn't even have food in the pantry without checking it daily for ants. Once I even returned home after being away for the weekend to find our bed had been taken over by the little pests.

They obviously don't take the pre-inspections into account...when we moved out they tried to charge us for the very same problems that we noted when we moved in.

For the price the apartments could definitely stand to be a little nicer. I was very pleased with the size of our apartment, but overall the quality was a bit lacking. The kitchen and the bathrooms (with the exception of the whirlpool tub in the master bath) were very cheaply furnished. We also had trouble with plumbing in the kitchen and both bathrooms.

The doors were somewhat difficult. We never locked our door, because if we did it sometimes took us 30 minutes to get the magic combination that would let the key unlock the door.

Other than the incident about overcharging us at move out, we never had any major issues with the staff. However, we did notice what seemed to be a high turnover rate among the employees.

Add to the above the other problems noted by most...gates never working, inconvenient garbage disposal, terrible parking, ridiculous water bills...and TPC was far from the best place we've lived.
