I moved from The Paddock Club because the apartment was constantly being
overrun and taken over by thousands upon thousands upon thousands of ants. I have never seen anything like it outside of a cheap horror movie. Imagine three solid
black columns each ten inches wide of black ants crawling up and down a wall, from
floor to ceiling, and that's what I came home to. Live here only if you like ants.

I live @ Paddock now and am making a plan to get out! After 5 months and no maintenance attention just lip service from the manager, office, etc...it is time to leave. One neighbor keeps their dog on the screened porch all night and it howls all night. The office told me I can call the cops in the middle of the night! This is a noisy place on the weekends---- all night- and the hallways are filthy. You will see beautiful flowers but they cannot come fix my ice maker after 4 months and 3 reports! Pitiful....

File a complaint with the following: Housing Authority. Animal control in Huntsville. Fire Marshall. Call the cops for the noise esp. if you suspect drugs. Take out an ad in the local traders, even a short one and tell people you have experienced this. Don't take it. Legally, you don't have to.

Have any of you thought that some things and issues are a part of APARTMENT living?! No apartment community whether NEW or OLD is PERFECT...I mean seriously?! For example the issues with ants, many times people complain about bugs but yet they live FILTHY! Not to claim that you live like that but many pest control technicians will report that after residents call the office furious about bugs...Pest control can spray everyday but if you refuse to clean your house then of course the ants will continue to find your place...that's common sense. As far as maintenance, all service requests are very important to a leasing office but an EMERGENCY such as a busted water heater, no air, or no heat will always take precedence over an icemaker just follow up with them..in the midst of it, it truly could have been overlooked and not intentionally. Don't just sit back and complain and write reviews on the internet. I can guarantee that wherever you go even BRAND NEW you will still have issues... As far as noise complaints, I'm sure they probably said "courtesy officer" and not cops. The police are only for emergencies. Filing a complaint with housing authority will do you no good because they are a conventional property therefore they are not governed by them. They are a private property and are ran by a management company. **Just a word to the wise for people who actually read these and let them determine where you will live...** People that are pissed off about a certain situation will actually take the time to fill these out but a person who is truly honest and happy with the community will not intentionally come to a website as such to slander a community. Think about out it...how many good reviews do you really read on these websites?! Have a GREAT day everyone and happy APARTMENT LIVING!!!!
