I lived here for two years and hated just about every moment. I had to stay an extra year because they renewed my lease without notifying me.These apartments are very loud and dangerous. I had two neighbors that were robbed at gunpoint within one month. When I approached management about changing apartments because I was scared to stay in that building they simply laughed and said no. The police were there at least once a week due to violence or noise control. My neighbors constatnly played loud music from 8 am until early hours in the morning.I also complained about this numerous times and nothing was ever done. Not to mention that the walls are paper thin and you can hear your neighbors talking or using the bathroom!
My car was broken into twice. There is supposed to be a security guard on duty but I never saw him. The lighting in the parking area was always broken so it was very scary for me to walk up to my apartment at night.
When I tried to retreat to the pool for some relaxation I was constantly disappointed. The pool would be green or closed half of the time while the other half I would end up babysitting all the neighborhood children that had come to swim. Most of them were too young to be there without a supervision so I felt responsible for them. When I mentioned this to management, again, nothing was ever done.
I also constantly had bugs in my apartment. This was strange since I am a very neat person. Pest control was supposed to come once a month but came actually about every 3 months. Even when they did come it did not stop the hundreds of baby roaches that infested my apartment. When my lease finally came to and end and I moved out, I was charged $1500.00 for damages that did not even exist!!
So even though these apartments are cheap, I say pay a little extra for someplace thats nice and steer clear of Park Place Apartments!!! 3mPoZ6gGN6wTPgNi4L2C
