Whoever said that the disgruntled tenants just didn't want to pay their rent has another thing coming. If it wasn't for the fact that I am paying for shelter that doesn't keep the elements out, I wouldn't even be on here. I made a mistake renting here... All I saw was a more than reasonable rent payment and jumped on it. Next time, I will be much more selective. The maintenance here is essentially non-existent unless you hound management relentlessly. Even then, they will get to you when and if they feel like it. I had two incidents where I attempted to call the emergency pager when my ceiling erupted into a mini waterfall (again) and was never responded to. Good thing the ceiling hadn't caved in. I am still fighting with them a month later to fix this infraction and from what I have read, there are tenants worse off than me. They even had the gall to tell me that other folks were having the same problem. How does that make me feel better' It just proves lack of cusomter service and the desperate need for some management that knows what they are doing and actually realize that we are not just tenants, but customers that deserve the same service anyone would receive from a service provider.

don't worry i moved out a few months ago and shortly after i moved out my apartment caught on fire and burned down i got a letter from a collection agency last week where they are sueing me for 1700 for damage to the carpet on an apartment that's burned up and the damage to the carpet is water damage from a roof that leaked for 11 months and they never fixed it i am getting ready to take them to court myself like several other tenants did while i lived there and see what happens my lawyer says he can add a few 00's to what they want and win so i guess we shall see but yes lisa and kim (the management) aren't worth a damn at all and maintenance ha your lucky if a drunk bum shows up 4 months after you call them to say that he can't fix it

Best of luck to you... I am actively pursuing complaints with the BBB, the Al Apt Assoc and am considering legal action and the local news stations if i have to. If you keep your end of the contract, the management should keep theirs, that's what the freakin' contract is for. Best of luck to you.
