I have lived at Sunlake apts for 2 yrs now and if I knew then what I know now I would have never moved in, when I first moved in I moved in from out of state and and negotiated the apartment over the phone and the internet. I paid the first 2 years upfront, at the end of the second year I received a bill for a rent increase for the Garage, I tried to explain the Law to him (which he didn't have a clue about)
that states If a person pays in full on a lease the rate can not be chargeed for any changes during said lease. Micheal was so self ricious he didn't even want to hear it, I asked for a superiors number and was givin a website that didn't work. I am now on my last month living there and paid for my last month and dropped it off in the office rent box, wouldn't you know it.....It wasn't posted and I received a late notice and a bill on my door on a friday after hours. Now having to prove that I paid him and take time out of my busy day. I would recomend this complex to NO-ONE not even my worste enemy. not only is the Management incompotant but the grounds and the buildings are poorly kept and old.

File the following complaints: one with the housing authority that governs this area. One with the consumer protection agency. One with the HQ office for the co. that owns this complex. One with the BBB. Then, place a small but telling ad in the local traders regarding your experience. They can't do anything about it as long as it is true.
