I have had problems with Sunlake since I moved in. The first time I took a shower I ran out of hot water in about 4 minutes. It took 4 separate calls to finally get it fixed (they kept coming out and trying to fix it by just adjusting the temperature setting). Then I noticed lots of bugs and traced it to a gap in the patio door. Again I called to have it fixed and the guy actually broke the door. When I called and told them about it they sent another guy and he just added more weather stripping to cover the cracks in the door. Finally I fixed it myself after nobody came out on the 4th call. Beware, they take no responsibility for you packages that are delivered to the office while you are gone. I hate a Christmas package stolen within a couple hours of delivery. The lady that signed for it said they are not responsible but when I asked if they know who comes in to the building she said yes, well would you not have a clue who came in that day' "No, it's not our responsibility". And the manager said the same thing she did. Needless to say I gave them plenty of notice that I will not renew.
Oh yeah, I swear I have a cow that lives above me, I hear this little lady any time she moves.

The lady above you may not be a cow. The quality of construction and sound insulation are so poor that even a small child moving around makes a lot of noise. I've had two different tenants above me, neither with bovine qualities, and both made lots of noise. My brain finally learned to tune out most of that noise. Now if I could only tune out the constant construction noise.
I'm having a related problem with doors and windows. During this recent cold weather, I can feel cold air just rushing in under the patio door and around the windows. I can understand the patio door not having enough weather stripping but the windows were just replaced a month ago. The exterior walls also feel very cold so I'm guessing they contain little or no insulation.
I wish the constuction crews would remove their trash and pick up any loose nails and screws. This has been going on forever. My wife picked up enough nails and screws to fill a coffee cup and that was just in front of our apartment.
As for packages, the best way to deal with that is to rent a mailbox somewhere. I recommend the UPS Store in the Publix shopping center just up the road (corner of Zierdt and Madison Blvd).
The only thing nice about this place is the lake. They'll probably get around to screwing that up eventually.
