I have lived in the Hunnington for a year and a half. They first rented me the apartment when I was 18 years old, a whole 6 months before I turned 19. In Alabama this is illegal. Secondly-when the men came to cut the grass a couple of weeks ago they cut half of a plant, that I had bought and planted, off!! They didn't even finish cutting the nearby grass. The office staff did nothing. Then, one night my boyfriend-who lives with me-and two of our friends decided to go swimming at the pool--the office "manager" was at the pool, drunk, with glass bottles in hand(which is against pool rules), with several men just sitting in the hot tub. She immediatly jumped on our case saying "WHO LIVES HERE'' YOU!'" Not the friendly staff I had heard about.
Also-the noise. It seems as if the Hunnington has turned into a mixture of two things-the projects: with all the noisey kids allowed to run and scream about, and a dorm: all the drunk college-aged girls that live nearby that come home at 2am talking as loud as they can. I hate the Hunnington, and as soon as my stupid lease is up-Im GONE!
One more thing! I have been paying $18 a month extra in rent for 6 months...no one in the office bothered to correct me until I found out last week! Thanks!
