The Hunnington is an awful place to live. Sure, there are a couple of good points here. Some of the people are really great, and I am not talking about the staff either. The lease says no large or aggressive breeds in dogs. Well I know of several dogs 50 pounds and up to atleast 120 here. There are constant parties here which are very disturbing to us residents that do not want to deal with that kind of crap, especially being woke up in the middle of the night. And the parties leave all kinds of garbage laying around the parking areas. The computer in the office (one of their extra's that they claim in their advertising) has not worked in 2 years or more. When we moved here we were told that our apartment keys worked for the pool gate.....wrong! The pool gate has NEVER been locked. They (the management) says that there can only be one guest per apartment at the pool.....wrong! There are hundreds of people that come here to swim that are not even guests of tenents. There is no alcohol allowed at the pool......wrong! Open alcohol containers everywhere. Loud parties at the pool in the middle of the night and nothing is done about it, spite of complaints. The upstairs balconies are falling.....some have fell and they don't fix them until the fall. They starting fixing all of them at one time but they just up and stopped paying the contractor so he quit fixing them.....don't blame him either. The maintenance sucks....they do not want to fix things the right way. The closet doors here and in several apartment need replacing but like they told me....'it cost us $250.00 and the owners will not pay for it.' The front of the building is always landscaped but the back looks like a getto. The office hours are M-F 9 to 5 and part days on Sat and Sun. You MIGHT catch them in the office. They hardly ever answer the phones when you call. They (the management says to call the officer here if you have a problem but he never responds to anything. I can go on and on and on about the problems here. The management only cares about the sports team that move in here and no one else. It also says in the lease that you cannot be a convicted felon and live here....well....guess what!!! There is a guy here that spent 3 years in prisson for drugs but the management thinks he never does any wrong so they allow him to do anything he wants.....drink at the pool, shoot fireworks off the balcony, bring all his buddies from prision to the pool for parties.....you name it and he does it. When you complain about something that is going to cost money to fix, like the computer in the office, they always say that the company that owns this complex will not give them any money. That same company owns other complexes that I know, from experience with them, have a great staff and manager and always look the best in every way. To close, it is not advisable to live here unless you want a lot of stress and no sleep. And then once you move in the management becomes snobby and rude.
