What more can be said about the old staff. Every negative comment was correct and all of us had to endure it until now. We have new management who has hired out-of-state contractors to repair and remodel the exterior, which includes landscaping. Since then we have had half of Mexico (it is what it is) on our roofs, decks, patios, and basically everywhere else from 8am until about 5pm M-F. Then it continues on Saturday at 9am and sometimes on Sunday. They drive recklessly around the parking lots and leave debris like nails and screws everywhere. This has been going on for months. I know it won't last forever, but the management's mentality isn't going away anytime soon. They have raised the rent with the rational that they are making improvements and that current market value blah.blah.blah. They are just improving on what should have been in the first place. Like decks that don't crumble and roofs that don't leak. The truth is that it's still the same dump as before. The interior is still moldy, crumbling, and ancient. It's still in a high crime area, right behind a bar, and a half-mile from an even worse crime area with strip clubs. The staff does answer the phone now, but with a condescending attitude, as if they have been here forever and are owed something. They would rather inconvenience and disrupt us while showing total disregard for our privacy just to meet schedule. Then management raises the rent and acts as if you can go screw yourself if you don't like it. By the way, now my water bill has gone up because I have to pay the same for a one bedroom one tenant apartment as someone with a three bedroom multiple tenant with a washer and dryer. It's their new policy. The only reason that I moved here in the first place was because the rent seemed reasonable. I had no idea how bad it was going turn out to be, and now this with a rent increase. They're not the only place to live in Huntsville. See ya Hunnington, I'm out of here.

Wow, after reading that I really wish I could have the last couple of minutes back. Where to start? Obviously the writer of the last review showed his ignorance and lack of understanding, good thing we live in America where ignorant people such as the last writer are allowed to express their opinions. Now, let???s take a reasonable look at what is going on from an educated stand point.
Me, I moved in to these apartments in December. Yeah, there were a lot of contractors on the property & yes, it could be annoying hearing the banging going on Saturday mid morning after a hard night out the night before. But guess what, I absolutely love my new balcony. All I can think to say is Vive Mexico!!!!! As far as making comments about ???they??? in which you were off on a childish rant pertaining to the contractors, silly writer, you stereotyped ???they??? because they are MexiCAN. Sounds pretty racist to me, but obviously from your bile you???ve written it proves two things to me. 1.) The Internet is a very dangerous place (i.e.- you have access) & 2.) You are as about as narrow-minded as the nails used to replace our roofs.
From reading previous comments, yes improvements have been made & I look at the Hunnington as a beautiful property. Guess we???re looking at it from two different set of eyes, but see, I???m open minded enough to realize that some people are just negative people. I???m not for sure what the writer was talking about when he/she stated ???the interior is still moldy, crumbling, and ancient??????, I definitely saw no signs of this and felt very secure in my decision of moving in from out of state.
You talk about high crime area, but the real crime is, is that the old staff was stupid enough to let someone like you move in. Strip clubs- heck I???ll support single moms any day. Located behind a bar- heck that???s great, it means I don???t have to worry about driving under the influence when wanting a drink or two. It seems location is key, Wally World is right down the street, Arby???s & Taco Bell are within walking distance???I bet business boomed for Taco Bell when ???half of Mexico??? was here.
The office staff has been nothing but courteous to me, one of the main reasons I moved in. I???ve had a couple of work orders placed and have had pretty prompt responses to my requests. It seems like I do owe the staff something, a big Thank You or for the previous writer a Big Muchas Gracias!!
I???m kind of glad that the rent has been raised, why would I want prices compared to the ghetto? Raise the rent get good qualified people in and the bad out- could this be why you are moving out? As for the water and you being charged the same as a 3 bedroom apartment, please let me in on the secret as to where these 3 bedroom apartments are??? When I called to inquire about an apartment, I was told the Hunnington only had 1 & 2 Bedroom apartments. Wait a second- sorry folks, had to check the apartmentguide.com and sure enough the Hunnington only offers 1 & 2 bedroom apartments. Yes, the Hunnington is not the only place to live in Huntsville but I will be able to sleep better tonight knowing that when YOU move out, both the Hunnington???s & Your new properties combined I.Q. score will dramatically increase. Think about that one for a little while, don???t scratch your head too long and just walk away from the computer.

Had.Enough,
I am reading at these reviews b/c I'm looking into moving in at this place... I stop reading your review at the very moment you made racists comments about --------. It goes to show what kind of person you are. I hope you moved out already b/c I definetely do not want to be neighboors with a person like you.

Real -------- don't go to Taco Bell. Super Wal-mart is right down the road. Yes, Arby's and Taco Bell are right there. It is right behind a bar; gang of people out late one night when happened to be there. Clubs and joints are down the road but well past the apartments - past W-M.
