I lived here when the previous owners were here, and although they were nice and all, it took them FOREVER to get things done. The new owners have really flipped this place. The area is NOT dangerous, it is not behind a bar or anything like that. It's convenient to stores, parks, downtown, and far away from the University Blvd area. All of the buildings have new roofs, new paint jobs, new balconies, parking lots, etc. They are also getting ready to make a new doggie area. New, new, new. The car wash area actually works now, and the folks in the front office said they are preparing to re-do the office with a new workout room and everything. The landscaping is beautiful, and they keep everything neat and clean outside. And as for the guy who said the water is too high, the management folks told me my water bill is going down, and it has. I pay less 20 bucks a month. Maintenance is great, they get things done quickly. For example, my hot water heater broke and they replaced it with a brand new in less than 3 hours. Sure, it can be a little noisy now, but it's only the people working to fix things around here. Other than that, it's very quiet. (Except for the occasional noise from Redstone Arsenal) I would definitely recommend to others.

This has got to be the biggest B.S. I have read in a while. This is obviously written by Steven D. Bell & Company management themselves. First of all, work orders are still being piled up, I have work orders since May that have not be taken care of. There has been an extreme amount of turnover in the office (Manager, Assistant Manager & weekend leasing agent) to the maintenance. Since I’ve lived at the hunnington there has been a major overhaul in maintenance as well going from an ignorant person named Jeff, to a knowledgeable supervisor named Brad to some new guy who makes people feel guilty for coming out to fix their A/C on the weekend. This guy makes me feel guilty all because he had to do his job on a Saturday. Not to mention the office cannot locate my file which makes me feel real safe knowing that they have all of my crucial information such as social security number, DOB, etc.
The area is definitely behind a bar and the name of it is called “Diamonds”, goes to show that Steven D. Bell’s management do not even know their surrounding businesses, are you a member of the chamber of commerce? The “doggie area” is already installed and looks more like a children’s playground than a “doggie area”, it’s located next to the pool that was green for a while. It might look new, but the place is falling apart. Putting a big band aid on the exterior does not fix the interior. The apartments are small and the cabinet doors are falling apart. Appliances are old looking and there’s a drug ring running out of the 15 building, just watch all of the people entering and exiting those apartments, at all hours, all shapes & sizes.
The property noise is not from the people working to fix things on the property, the exterior work has been completed for months now and the Redstone Arsenal does not create the noise it is because of the location next to the Parkway. Come on Steven D. Bell management, if you are going to write a review at least do some research first.
