My husband and I have had constant problems here. At the first apt. we rented our bedroom had cracks in the ceiling and it creaked loud enough to wake us up whenever our neighbor was awake ( which was about 5am). The management told us to get earplugs! After telling them several times, they finally decided to come listen and guess what' They moved us to another apt. free of charge. In our apt. now our downstairs neighbors are constantly having parties. The first one was the night before our wedding!!! Nothing was done about it. We called security on them over the past several months and even HPD a couple times when the security officer was babysitting and couldn't come out. Lately, the apt. manager( who is not friendly or helpful at all) has called me a liar twice. She says the people who live there deny everything. Also, she says she has stood at their window and hasn't heard anything!! Now if I can hear them clearly in my bedroom I know she is lying. Plus we were told that there is no corporate number that we can call. There is. We got it from the management at Mars which is the same corporation. One other thing, a few months ago, an outlet in our spare room blew up when I plugged a lamp in it. I was almost shocked and it caught on fire for a minute!! Our power went out, and I called maintainance. After about an hour and a half, he showed up asking what I did to the outlet. Noone showed any concern for my well-being, they just assumed that I had done something wrong. This is not the kind of place that you want to live. Believe me. We are trying our best to get out.
