I lived at this apartment complex for almost a year. I had SO many problems that I terminated my lease early. I complained to the office of what looked like a potential leak on the top of my living room window sill (paint was cracking and there was an increasingly large bulge) for two weeks to no avail. Imagine my shock and horror when I looked up from watching TV one day to find that the bulge at my window had exploded and thousands of termites were falling out. Unsure of what to do with the situation, I grabbed my vacuum cleaner and sucked as many of them as possible up. When the flow lessened, I called the apartment manager and told her what had happened. She LAUGHED, told me to tape the holes, and to expect someone there to fix it in about TWO WEEKS. Around the same time, I had complained of a leak in my bedroom closet which was accumulating mold and mildew. Everyone knows that mildew is bad for health and makes anything nearby smell awful. Three weeks of consistent complaining roused a completely incompetent maintenance guy to come look at it and pronounce it "fine." I broke my lease the next week and actually had to argue with the managers so that I wouldn't be charged for the early termination. Do yourself a huge favor - don't live here.
