This complex has gone from a nice place to live to a complete hell hole. In my time here, I have seen cars broken into, rude management, and a complete lack of care for the grounds. There has been no pest control for the past couple of years, the critters are rampant. Beyond that, someone was murdered at apartment 107 in the 6240 building yesterday. Thugs have taken over this place. Time to move, and I urge you not to live here unless you want to be the next murder statistic.

I agree. I have been here since the summer so I still have a few more months but it's not good. There was a fire sometime between Aug-Oct 2008 (last year) and the tarp is STILL on the building. They haven't done anything with the building except let it sit there and get weathered. You can't miss it as you're driving down Rime Village Dr. It's embarassing. Lights aren't as bright as they should be nor are they replaced when they should be. I understand it's a big complex, so get more grounds people/maintenance. I can't even begin to list the issues I've had with maintence basically with them not filling the "order requests" and no communication. There have been ambulances to our area a few times and the cops twice, in the few months I have lived here. The pool near me wasn't ready until August of last year. All in all, it's a GREAT location. But you are giving up much more to live here.

There is a review titled "Poor to Bad" that mentions a problem in building 6240 about a week before the murder. Not sure why management has left those burned out buildings unattended since Aug 2008? Those burned out buildings should have been fenced or torn down to prevent someone from getting hurt (i.e children who may stray into there). There appears to be a disconnect between management and the welfare of the tenants.

I live at the reserve at fairway hills and our maintence and property mangers used to be nice but we got new management and that all changed. we had a fire on april 6th and things just keep getting worse. one of the maintence guys is a total jerk and when we had a fire they told the people effected they had to pay to still live there. the news said the somke detectors didnt work and the propety manager blaims the tenants. they are wired so we cant really do much. i went and bought some from walmart and made sure mine work they can deal with theirs. when the tenant got upset once told they had to pay the property manager claimed she was new to the fire thing and didnt know what to do. I heard they are responsible for the fire because of wiring but do they care... NOPE! these people are inconsiderate and do not care about their tenants. i will be moving out the end of my lease. the owners should be penalized for all the unsafe buildings and poor care it just isnt right. we live in apartments because we cant afford a house and the owners are resposible for the propeties they own regaurdless of situations. thats why they are apartments for rent, we pay them to make sure we are safe. DONT LIVE AT ANY OF THE RESERVE APARTMENT you'll either you will be murdered or you'll burn in your sleep
