We have lived here for close to a year now and our lease is coming due. This is a place I would not recommend. The windows are paper thin and it costs alot to heat and cool a two bedroom. The walls are paper thin and unless you get on a top floor you everything above you, like it is right there. The allow to many big dogs in the area and the grounds have dog crap all over them.
For the same price in rent you can get a new apartment, never lived in just up the road with more ammenities.
The management is alright depending on the day. The are quite moody.

I have also lived here for over a year and have not had these issues. We are one of the large dog owners and we do clean up after our dogs. We were actually glad to find that this community accepts large pets, as most do not. The current staff has been helpful to me and my family and we have not had any issues with them. I think this is a great place to be.

I have a very hard time beliving the response is not from management. I live here and there is always poo all over, some even let their dog out unattended without concern for cleanup.

I agree with huntsvillerenter, there has been nothing but dog crap all over, funny how management is now sending out notices to all tenants regarding that pet owners clean up after their pets as this is a BIG problem here. We have kids and it is not pleasant finding this on their shows.

My husband has been @the Vintage since 2006 then I moved here in 2007. Everything was wonderful until there was a completely new staff in 2008. I must say the standards have dropped a bit. The new staff is not as friendly and some renters are not cleaning up after their pets, and some will not adhere to the valet trash rules. Overall, its still a GREAT place to live.
