I have lived here in Woodway Pines scince December of 07 and it is horrible.. Im kicking myself in the behind for signing a years lease. First of all when I moved in I had to clean the apartment from top to bottom because there were still remnances ans scents lingering from the previous tenents. The washer and drryer in my building work only sometimes and I myself maintain the cleanliness if the appliances themselves, the taking out of the trash (and replacing the bag with ones ive purchased), the dusting of the cobwebs and lint, the sweeping and mopping of the floors (with broom and mop I purchased specifically for the laundry room) because not only is it an eyesore but it is right outside my door and I dont take kindly to foul smells. As if that isnt inconvenient enough my airconditioner has been broken scince Monday June 9th of 08 and the date today is June 15th Fathers Day which my family is having to spend away from "home" because we still have no airconditioner tomorrow marks a week. The heat this week has reached a record high.. It was 96 degrees in our apartment one day last week and thats with all doors and windows open and three fans running in each room. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. My refridgerator quit workin on tuesday the day after my air went out the maintenance guy came to check and didnt come back that day like ha said he would and that night all of our groceries spoiled (as if we could cook in a 96 degree apartment anyway.) So we have been eating out which has cost us 2 weeks worth of grocery money and all of our groceries were ruined. It is soooo HOT in our apt. I bought a loaf of bread at 11 am on Wed. and by 8am on Thurs. there was mold growing on my bread. And Im suppose to have my 8 yr old son stay in these conditions'''' I am so not pleased and think the management of this apartment complex sucks... Oh yeah and now its section 8 and the breezeway in my building has become the nearest crack convenience store.. YAY ME!!!
