I lived at The Pointe for a year. It was an ok place. It's some of the better apts of J'ville and not rated as a ghetto. The maintance man was great. he was always available and was friendly and prompt at getting things fixed. However the office staff was NEVER there!!!! The floors and walls are very thin and you can hear everything your neighbor say or do. The back deck was about to fall off the side of the building. My car was broken into and vandalized. That was the only bad thing about the place. The swimming pool was always gross too because everybody partied in it. All the people in my surrounding buildings were awesome. It's a decent place to live for a college student. The rent is much higher than some other places, but it's definitely worth it.

Take a look at Boardwalk Luxury Apartments, 256-453-2037. They're clean, quiet and upscale. The owner lives on site.
