First of all, there are two apartment complexes owned by Eagle Pointe. One is located in front of Wal Mart (where I live) and the other is located behind a Cooter's bar on the far side of town known by many as "the hood"

I have loved living here! I live right beside the pool, and though sometimes it does get a little noisy- I don't think it's bad. The wall are going to be thin in apartments so just learn to live with it- for the most part I had VERY quiet neighbors. I am in college, but very few college kids actually live here. This complex is more family oriented. The pool is pretty much vacant during the summers except for about 12:30 - 2:00 (when most of the mom's take their kids) The pool is always well kept, and has a picnic area. The apartments are very clean, and pest control comes regularly and sprays. I saw only one roach during my stay- I called Gina and she gave me some sticky traps and made a note for the pest control guy who came within 3 days. The ONLY complaint I would even mention is that the carpet is indoor/outdoor carpet and if you walk around barefoot, you will have black feet so I always wear socks or slippers, and change my socks before I climb into bed.

There have been no criminal activity that I am aware of while I've stayed except one guy got his car broken into this past January, but the people he associated with were shady and he's moved since then. Rule of thumb in a college town is "Don't leave books or backpacks in your car" (Unless it's in the trunk where it can't be seen.)

Parking is great- I've only had to park one time in another parking lot because my neighbors were having a party.

The staff and maintenence have been wonderful! Gina is the best, she ginuinely cares and does all she can to help. I have had no maintenence issues at all! I asked the maintenence guy to install a peep hole in my door and change the locks which he did happily and promptly. Everyone has been super friendly to me and I would recommend this place to anybody!
