Not terrible, but not so great either.

I live in one of the two bedroom apartments in Park Place II (the one across from Mason Hall). The apartment is roomy and there's tons of closet space. The bathroom setup is odd, though. There are two doors into it (one from each bedroom) and my roommate and I keep locking each other out, and it's no fun having to go through his room to pee at four in the morning. All of the doors in your room are in the same little hallway so you can't open your closet if your bedroom door or the bathroom door is open. The kitchen is beyond shabby. The apartments were built in the fifties and it definitely shows. The rent isn't absolutely terrible, but the bills are. My power bill was higher than a friend of mine who lives in a three bedroom roomy house, even when we don't use the air and turn off lights. Managers seem to e coming and going rather quickly. People we don't know from the school park in our parking lot. I do give props to the new maintenance guy. He knows his stuff and he's really prompt. The apartments are really safe. Absolutely zero problems there. UPD is next door and it's pretty well-lit.
