If you want the truth about this place, ask the Jacksonville police department. They have arrested people who live here, they are here very often. It is not a safe place to be. The people that live here are nasty and so are the management staff. Plan on geetting no sleep due to the noise level. Parties every night with drunken idiots and piles of vomit. Don't be fooled by the outside appearance. This plave is a dump. The rent is cheap, figure it out for yourself, there has to be a reason for that. Of course the assistant manager or manager will reply to this and say it is all lies. Go ahead ask the police department, they will tell you the TRUTH

Better yet, try calling one of the courtesy officers! My roomates and I have tried to call them 4 times due to loud music that was coming through our walls. They didn't answer any of the three times. But then again, I wouldn't either! With all the robberies and assaults that have happened here, I would avoid conflict if I were them also! The police do not run through here as a common courtesy. That is --------. They come here when they MUST because of drug dealers, crimes, robberies, theft, break ins, the list goes on and on. As A RESIDENT who LIVES here, I can PERSONALLY tell you not to listen to any of the reviews written that are positive. They are written by the manager and staff of Jacksonville Place apartments. They are so desperate for residents, they have thrown 4 "Come Renew!!" parties already. No one wants to live here. And when they show you the model, please know that is exactly what it is, a MODEL. The apartments are run down and crappy on the inside. The crime ratio is not equal. I have been looking EVERYWHERE to get out of this DUMP, and I have been doing my research. Just hang around this place for a few hours outside in the parking lot. You will see what I am talking about. If the fact that the manager of this place and the assistant manager won't even live here, what does that tell you?

hairprincess hits it on the head. PLEASE call the J'ville Police. They know that it's the ghetto and I've heard them call it that. If you want a good apt with little crime, live at Eagle Pointe. There rent is higher but it's totally worth it. Very quiet except for some thin walls/floors but it's nothing like the other places in J'ville. It's very laid back.
