I have lived in Jacksonville Place for 4 months. I started to highly dislike it after one month. At first it was bearable, but then after hearing gunshots on four separate occasions (2 of which were reported to Jacksonville police), an assault in the parking lot, drug dealers doing business, groups of people wreaking havoc until all hours of the morning disturbing many people's sleep, my roommate bringing in different guys every night, and last but certainly not least, my car being keyed, I decided it was enough and I should move out. Now comes part two of the Jacksonville Place nightmare.... the rediculous policy of Place Properties (owners of Jacksonville Place) There is basically no way of getting out of your lease. It is all a money making scam with no possibilities of getting them to bend the rules a little, even though they do not uphold their end of the contract. Courtesy officers 24 hours' Yeah... DOUBT IT! The bottom line is, Jacksonville Place may look nice, but looks aren't everything. The place is a nice looking ghetto... and not just the apartments, but about 85% of the disrespectful individuals who live there.

there courtesy officers were 3 APD officers that worked during the day and slept during the night and in between there they were out partying with the kids who lived there. Occasionally, you'd see them walking thru with flashlights shining them on girls on the balconies wanting phone #'s. They were useless just like everything else to do with the Ghetto Apt's

completely agree..i had a harrassment report from the jpd and still couldnt get out of there!

Try Boardwalk Luxury Apartments. They're clean, upscale, safe and you can sleep at night. Quiet hours 10 PM to 7 AM. Owner lives on site. 256-453-2037
