I lived at Jacksonville place for almost a year. My very first week in my new apartment, a girl was beaten by a man in the courtyard at around 2 in the morning. The police were there on a daily basis breaking up fights and trying to keep out drug dealers. There were several instances where there was 200 people gathered in the parking lot and 5 police cars would drive through with a mega-phone telling everyone to return to their rooms and for the people who didn't live there to leave. I also heard a girl getting beat up by her boyfriend in the room above me, it went on for about an hour and they had just slipped out the door a few seconds before the police got there. You can hear gun shots at night, apartments get broken into, it's NOT a good place to live. I would never allow my children to stay there!!!!!!!
