I've lived here for a little over a year now. I like my apartment. Regular pest control and things are fixed in a prompt manor. Just pay rent on time and I don't think you'll have any problems - that is to say you don't go wild in the place.

Don't expect the Hilton Hotel. It's definately a college squat.

I live in the single level apartments and near the end of one of the buildings. The Owner hands have changed recently (within the last 2 months), but seem like good people. The Maintenance Man is a cool dude. Recently I've had a bunch of renegade baseball players move in that like to break beer bottles everywhere, but overall not too bad. Actually, I can't think of anywhere else in Jacksonville I'd like to live. Get to know your neighbors and everyone takes care of their own around here.
PROS:
Within biking distance to campus. Walking distance to the track. Reasonably priced. The alternatives are J'ville Place and The Gr**ve. Both have turned Ghetto Fabulous.. lots of car break ins...slashed tires, etc. But kids seem to like it because of the pool area.
CONS:
Only downer is there isn't a place to chill - like a balcony or front/back area for grilling.

Bottomline I recommend it. Hope this helps.
