I've lived at Charleston Oaks for over 3 yrs. The appearance of the property has slowly gone down. Several building need painting (including mine) and it is very dark at night. The rent goes up every year. The staff is very helpful and nice. I've noticed that one staff member frequently brings her daughter to work with her. I feel very uncomfortable discussing my rent and other personal matters with a child standing next to you and steering. Depending on how much the rent goes up will determine whether I stay. There are a lot of apartments in Madison.
