Since moving in I have been pleased with my apartment. All of my neighbors have been extremely friendly. And the office staff has been very receptive to my needs. When I first moved in I was going through a lot of personal issues and caring for an aging/sick father. All the staff made sure I had what I needed and are always friendly. I have seen them reach out and extend help to some of the other residents without even being asked to do it. They simply do it because they care.
The comments on here about the termination fees. All I have to say is you should have read your lease. You need to remember they are in the business to make money. Would your mortgage company let you out of your mortgage early without penalty' I was aware of what I would have to pay if I terminated early and understood it all.
I have lived in a house for the past 20 years and this is my first experience back in an appartment. And it has been pleasent for appartment living. My rent is reasonable and I believe I am getting my monies worth. I went from a home that had a master bedroom the size of my apartment and I have enjoyed it.
All the staff... Micheal, Kasey, Brett, Cindy, Debra and Tera all stop and talk to me. If they are not close enough they wave to me when they see me on the property.
I lived in Flagstone for awhile and I would choose Charleston Oaks over it. It really was not near the quality of service of Charleston Oaks.
One thing I learned about newsgroups. Very few people will post good comments. Most post only the negative. And some of those could be from other complexes.
