I chose Charleston Oaks because I was in a hurry to get an apartment--and I have been here for three years and have not been disappointed yet. I have read comments about train and airline noise, so to comment, yes, there is a train track that runs behind the apartments and Huntsville International Airport a few miles down the Interstate. Those do have some noise but honestly you get use to it (same as if you live in a large city). It is also nice to know that airport is a 5 minute drive if you need to travel.

The staff (both weekly and weekend crew, office personnel and maintenance) are extremely friendly and quick to help. The staff treat you like friends and learn your name quickly. I highly recommend Charleston Oaks for anyone looking for a single bedroom apartment (as I have). Yes, if you buy a house it is a better investment, but if you are not sure you are going to stay here for several years, this is a great place.
