I have been a resident for nearly four years. Maintenance is definitely WORSE! The buildings need to be pressure washed to remove spiders/spider webs, wasp nests, dirt, etc.
If you are handicapped, plan on fighting the non-impaired for the handicapped parking spaces. Management does NOTHING to enforce parking rules.
The "lake" at the north end of the property has no circulation to it and is a breeding ground for mosquitos in the summer.
Be careful if you plan on walking at night. Security lights on the building are generally burned out and haven't been repaired or replaced in over a year. I know I've personally notified management about the situation and they just don't do anything about it.
I agree with previous raters that management is not professional and they are hard to deal with. They have the attitude that if you don't like the place you can always move and they'll just find a new renter. It was MUCH better 3 years ago when the property manager lived on the premises. It definitely reflects poorly on Colonial Properties as a whole.
