don't lease here if you plan to be promoted by your Company!

first off, i was transferred by my Company the first of the year. I was impressed by Flagstone's overall appearance. It is veery well landscaped and the office staff very helpful and friendly and from day one have called me by first name even though it is quite a large complex. I was recently approached by my Company to accept a PROMOTION which came with a transfer to another state. My Company does have a transfer BUDGET. Upon going into the office to break my lease I was asked to pay a $625. fee to break lease, $900. fee and another 2 months rent with a 60-day written notice to vacate. Well, my Company wants the transfer to occur immediately so how can a person be available to stay 2 months' This total comes to almost $3000.00. I am a single person and do not have money laying around to pay for some place that I do not occupy. This has lead to me not being able to accept promotion to better my self and prepare for my future retirement as I am a older woman and only one imcome to my home. The staff was not sinsitive to my needs to better my self. I was told that she wanted to keep her job, well, I's like to better mine. I have turned down a promotion and the possibility of one in the future because of this!! Stay away from Flagstone.
