I moved here under the old management and lived here under both old and new. I moved in because it was beautiful - I care about what's outside - there were trees everywhere. A month after I moved in, they started cutting - I was told 240 trees in all. It is still quite attractive - but that took away the 'mountain lodge' appearance I liked. Landscape maintenance was impeccable before and after. I had good experience when calling for maintenance (minor); it was done next day. There were a lot of kids, but they were all very polite to me always (even the teenagers). I had no problems with my car, which I never locked - except that when my registration expired, management put a 'will be towed' sticker on the window which was hard to remove, and the lady was snippy when I asked about it - otherwise, I found staff extremely helpful and friendly. Noise upstairs was a bit of a problem - the people up there were not exceptionally noisy, but every bump was audible. Apartment was clean, but there was some poorly done repair/install work prior to when I arrived - messy looking plaster around the tub, for instance. Breaking my lease when I got a new job was costly, as others have noted. I stayed 19 months, and I was happy for the price - I was interested in low rent, and this was much better than similarly priced placed I found in Milwaukee, for instance. I paid a monthly fee to have a washer/dryer added after while and they were installed properly, and were either new or very good used machines. If I paid more I would rate this lower, but I thought for the price it was very good.

I moved to Flagstone Oct 1, 2006. I really like the trees and the wooded area around my apartment is nice. The staff are also real nice and helpful. I have never had an issue that hasnt been resolved. The maintenance guys are good about fixing things and will go out of their way to help if you have a problem. My overall experience has been great with Flagstone. I will be moving out in a few months because I am having a house built. I just wanted to say thanks to everyone at Flagstone that helped to make my stay here enjoyable. Cheers!

You got lucky. I lived there for 3 years and I never had air conditioning, no help from the maintence staff, my car broken into twice and rowdy teenagers to boot.
