I've lived here for about 2 years and you better believe that I'm trying to save my money to move away when my current lease ends, but with rent going up a lot every time your lease ends and $200 utility bills for my 2 bedroom apartment it's really hard to save any money. You'd think that with a bill that high that at least your air conditioner would keep you cool, but if you're thinking that you would be WRONG!

The maintenance and office people could care less about anything but your rent money. They certainly don't care about the people dealing drugs in the building that is right in front of the office at night (or in the bathrooms of the fitness center). They also don't care if things stay broken in your apartment for weeks or months. They don't care about cars being broken into or damaged. What they do care about is raising rent every chance they get and sending you emails reminding you that rent is due, like I didn't know it was due at the beginning of every month! If they would take the time they spend sending out those emails doing something to make this a decent place to live they'd be much better off.

I bet the good reviews on here aren't from people who live here but from the manager, reading them they sound like some of the lies they tell you before you move in. It's like that Southwest airlines commercial with the smiling ticket girl who changes instantly when the guy actually buys the ticket, same concept here. You see the place in the day time and they show you all the best looking parts, then you move in and see what it's really like. All nice and sweet until you sign the lease then the real attitude comes out.

I've never got an email from them...?? I pay my rent AUTO-PAY!!!!!!! And learn how to negotiate on your rent... They guy next to us just did and got $50-60 off a month for his rent.....

They must not have your email address then, I don't mean sending it out because I haven't paid, I get them before it's due reminding me that it's coming up. I'm always on-time, it's some automated thing. I got a 'Happy Birthday' email too. How exciting, here's an idea, if you want me to have a happy birthday give me a place that I'm happy to live in instead of an email!

I authentically looked at this place and knew it was not a place I wanted to live....even temporarily. I have noticed that people from Flagstone apts seem to trek back and forth to the complexes around them and the activity seems suspicious. You would think Flagstone Apt. mgmt would concern themselves with the reputation they are getting from this. My thinking is the police should be involved! The City of Madison town council as well.
