Since I wrote how I really felt before, decided this isn't the place to vent all the problems I've encountered.

If you are so unhappy at the apartments why would you live there for 5 years? And it seems like if things were so bad there the staff would have been replaced during that time. Check around and see what the turn over rate is for office staff and maintenance staff at other apartment complexs. I have lived at Mountain View 3 times and have enjoyed being there each time, the staff members have always been very accomidating to me and my associates. As for "having time to socialize and party", I have only known the staff to be very professional.

I have been at Mountain View for 5 years also. The reason I stay IS the staff, the quality and beauty of the property. I just cannot understand any of what you are saying. The staff is wonderful. Per your quote "The managers sure seem to have time to socialize and party, though! Very lackadaisical and the neighbors I know won't go over the management's heads and report them because they are afraid they will find a reason to get rid of them and they'll have to scramble to find another home! This is so pathetic and just shouldn't be this way.", this is ALL ridiculous. I talk to tenants all the time and the ones who have been here the longest have never voiced any of what you say. The staff responds to any problem I have in a very timely manner. I had a water heater go out on me at 5:00 one Friday afternoon, and the staff had maintenance there within 15 minutes. The maintenance staff stayed 2 hours plus, until everything was repaired. And by the way, the maintenance staff is wonderful as well. They always have a great attitude and get to the job in a very reasonable time frame. As for your idea that the management company come in and replace everyone? I don't think so. If they did, I would probably terminate my lease early. I can find an apt anywhere with the same floor plan and amenities, but not with the current staff. Your entire review is offensive to me. I hope all of the other reviewers will read on, and I am encouraging other tenants to write in a review. Then we will see how many tenants feel threatened to go over anyone's head. You used to word pathetic in your review, well, your review is the only thing that is pathetic. I think since you are so unhappy, perhaps you should move out as soon as possible.
