Good and Bad

Not the worst, not the best. Overall, I have been fairly happy with my stay at the Lexingtons (6 months). I have a good location in the back, without much noise from neighbors. However, I was a little upset to know that one of the front apartments was available in the unit I live in, when they put me (a single female) in the apartment in the back, where my door cannot even be seen from the parking lot. Luckily, I have not run into any problems with this so far. I have noticed that there are children running around at all times of the day, so be careful driving, because they like to skateboard right in the middle of the driving area.

Maintenance has been quick to respond with the minor problems I have had. The BIGGEST problem I have had here are the ANTS!!!!! They are EVERYWHERE!!! Management has gotten them to come each time I have complained to spray for them, but the ants don't seem to respond, because they are still intruding. I also have a big problem with lots of other bugs and spiders. These don't personally bother me because my cats take care of those for me; however, if you don't have cats, it could be a bigger problem.

The condition of my apartment is okay for the price I am paying ($804 for the newer unit 2 bedroom). Seems a little high priced to me, so I'm looking to move as soon as my lease is up. The kitchen has decent appliances, but the cabinets are ugly (not really a big deal though). The bathrooms are kind of nice, but the sink stoppers do not work in either one, and the tubs are stained badly. The carpet was cleaned before I moved in, as well as fresh paint, but the painters got some paint on the carpet, so hopefully they won't try to charge me for that.

All in all, a decent place to live. (Keep in mind that I am in the newer buildings. I do not know anything about the older ones, but have heard more bad than good about those).
