I've lived here for more than 2 years now & I loved it until about 5 months ago. Ever since the new management came in it's been much worse. The rent was raised $35 when it's usually just $5 each year. To make up for it' Well now we've got a dvd rental in the office...wow, 20 movies in there that I already have. There is no grace period for rent either. Normally you've got a couple days after the first right' Well, if it's not paid on the 1st, it's another $35. I've never, ever paid my rent late & then paid on the 2nd a couple months ago because the first fell on a holiday...got charged a late fee. Also my water gets turned off at least once every 2 months from pipes bursting. The ground is dug up all over outside my building from it & I've had numerous water bills that were 5 times higher than normal that have had to be fixed from this. Many people have left recently, there are signs all over about needing tenants. Well, no surprise. I've got friends here who have had their place broken into a few times. I used to have a neighbor who literally had the police at her apartment at least twice a week. The lights outside the building don't get replaced soon enough as well. It's very dark out here without those lights. I no longer feel safe here like I once did & the management sucks in my opinion. On a plus note, the size is great & the closets are huge.
