This complex is a dump! I lived here for 5 months and had to vacate because I couldn't stand living there anymore! The grounds are not safe at all after dark. Its a typical low income complex (meaning crime). I've been approached many times from people asking for money. The staff say the grounds are patrolled by a security guard, and they're truthful, except he's on a bicycle!!! Be careful and read every damage thats listed on the contract because at the end they'll hit you with damage fees that were already there before you move in. They left off damages on my contract and hit me with fees when I know I didn't do the damage! I left my shower curtain up and I was hit with a $20.00 trash fee. I also never used the stove and was hit with stove cleaning fee of $20.00. They also never gave me a contract when I moved in. I was told I would get one within a week and five months later upon moving out I still do not have one! If you want to feel safer spend a few extra dollars and live somewhere else. Your safety is important to you and your family and cabana expresses that by having a guard on a bicycle! A 50 year old man on a bicycle really mad me feel safe every night! NOT!!! Also, there was a shooting at the nightclub next door, just figured I'd throw that out there too! TO SUM EVERYTHING UP, IF YOU WANT TO BE HAPPY AND FEEL SAFE SPEND A FEW EXTRA DOLLARS AND LIVE ELSEWHERE!!!!
